Ugh.
I think I have a migraine. Earlier today I was seeing floaters, which sometimes happens if I sit up too quickly, so I didn't think much of it. Sometimes it means that a bad headache is on it's way. Which is currently the case. I feel lightheaded, nauseas, and my head is throbbing. It only stresses me out more knowing that I have a big practical exam tomorrow, and I need my brain to work. I took some Tylenol and peppermint oil capulses, so hopefully it will take the edge off and curb the nausea so I can get some sleep. I hope I do okay tomorrow :(
i have major stomach issues, mostly related to acid over production. ginger capsules are practically an everyday necessity for me. i've never taken peppermint oil for the nausea, though. do you think it might work better than ginger? just curious. i hope you feel better soon!!! migraines suck.
ReplyDeleteI am feeling a lot better after a good night's sleep :) Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI swear by the peppermint oil capsules for nausea, though I've never used ginger. I know ginger is recommended for chemo patients and morning sickness, so it obviously is effective. It may be work trying the peppermint oil just to see if it helps you more, because ginger can actually make acid problems worse in some people (but not everyone- it's very subjective). I usually just take 2 when I'm not feeling so grea- they are also good for an upset tummy, not just nausea. If you want to give them a try, I recommend Puritan's Pride brand. They are relatively inexpensive, so it may be worth giving it a try to see which helps you the best. Let me know how it goes :) http://www.puritan.com/peppermint-342/peppermint-50-mg-005080?NewPage=1
I mean, WORTH, not work.
